Daniel Croaston was born and raised in Champlin, MN.  He is
    a 1997 graduate of Champlin Park H.S. and a 2002 graduate
    of the University of Minnesota.   While at the U of M, he
    received a Bachelor’s of Science degree, majoring in Business
    and Marketing Education/Sociology.  Daniel is employed as
    a Regional Account Manager for a technology company..

    A heralded diver in his own right, some of Daniel’s collegiate
    diving accomplishments include:  1st place finishes 3 years in
    a row at the Big Ten Championships in 3 Meter Diving …
    1st on 10M platform diving at Big Ten’s in 2001 … competed
    in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Trials … 2 time Big Ten Diver
    of the Year … 6 time NCAA All-American .

While in high school, Dan was a 4 time all-conference and all-state diver …
two-time All-American … 1997 Diver of the Year with an undefeated season…
1st place at the 1997 State Championships, breaking a 20+ year Minnesota
state meet record. His record stands to this day.

Daniel currently resides in Victoria, MN with his son Callen and daughter
Brooklynn.  In his spare time he enjoys running, anything water-related,
trying new foods, learning new things, camping, mountain biking, snowboarding,
traveling and spending time with his children.  He is very excited to be with
the Minnesota Diving Academy.  He will bring some new excellent coaching
techniques and high expectations to the team.
